East High School is the center placement for Deaf and Hard of Hearing
students in Denver Public Schools. For the 2001-2002 school year
there are approximately 30 D & HH students enrolled. The students
have opportunities to attend mainstream classes with interpreters,
self-contained Deaf classes, and Resource room with a high teacher
to student ratio for tutoring and additional classwork assistance.
