POLICY: Announcements
Since 2001, we have been doing e-mail-based announcements for our Colorado deaf community. We want to go over few things you should know.
1. ColoradoDeaf.com is a private practice and an independent company doing business under DKRK, LLC. This means we will have no preference for or bias against organizations or businesses that use our service. This is fair and good business practice for everyone: We will cover all types of community news and announcements, preferably Colorado-based.
2. Anybody can subscribe to ColoradoDeaf.com. We hold the right to remove subscribers from our list if they abuse or threaten our operations.
3. We do not charge a fee for announcements of events from Colorado-based nonprofit, public and private agencies and organizations such as -- Colorado Association of the Deaf (CAD), Colorado Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH), faith-based special events (not regularly scheduled events), educational and American Sign Language (ASL) courses, trainings, workshops, etc., and other deaf-related community activities, and -- much more!
4. When you submit your message, you may e-mail us directly with attachment (preferred formats: doc, pdf, jpg, and gif, but please also provide us with text-only file if possible.
5. ColoradoDeaf.com will review all news and announcements before posting. We retain the right to reject any submission we feel may be inappropriate to share with our subscribers.
6. We are open to your ideas and suggestions. This is your e-newsletter. Our aim is reliability, accuracy, and quality you can depends on everyday!
